Treadmills and Fruit of the spirit

It never fails while i am at the gym on the treadmill i can think of all these things i want to post about and say on my blog but wouldn't you know it the moment i sit down i draw a blank its not fair i love to write but for something reason this whole blog thing has jinxed me......

I feel like the lord has been teaching me so much lately especially in the area of the fruit of the spirit since i have been studying that with my bible study and everytime i come to one like joy and peace and ect. im like oh this is not going to apply to me im very joyful and peace what does that even mean?! Well the lord has been showing me that all the fruit of the spirit you can find in the world but there is a big differnce between Wordly joy and God's version of it. Its very easy to be joyful when things are going as planned but how bout when your empolyees are annoying or when your stupid car won't work and your late for work or when your husband says he will do something and it still doesn't get done for like three weeks..... The joy of the lord is so different then that. Its kinda of like making the best of every situation and boy is that hard.... imagine a non-christian person watchign you "joyfully" scream at your dog as you chase it down the road or "joyfully" yell at your kids as they are fighting each other in the store.... when people seeing us acting so ridiculous they notice it wether we like to think so or not.... i prayed i would be able to better with joy of the lord now the father has seen to it to make sure i am experiencing all kinds of fun ups and downs to test my joy.... (Be careful what you pray for!) Take some time to look over the fruit of the spirit maybe some of the ones you thought were easy or you had down pat might need a little work! I know i sure have a lot to work on!

The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. Against such things there is no law. Gal. 5:22-23
